Dangers
Poaching - 20 000 elephants a year are killed for their ivory tusks
Habitat Destruction - elephants are big animals, so need a lot of space for finding food. Elephants can sometimes travel 80km a day! As more space is taken up for human housing, farming and industry, there is less space left over for elephants to use.
